UGUR (Pty) Ltd (“the Company”) was established in 2016 specifically with the intention of specializing in Insolvency (liquidations and sequestrations) and Business Rescue law.
The Company is a level 1 BEE compliant.
The Director of the Company is Reynard Roberts an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He is currently on the Master of the High Court’s Panel of Insolvency Practitioners, and is also licensed by the Companies and Intellectual Properties Commission to practice as a Business Rescue Practitioner.
He has obtained the following tertiary qualifications:
- BA (Law) LLB (University of the Western Cape)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law (University of Cape Town)
- LLM (Commercial Law specializing in Banking and Company Law) (UNISA)
- Certificate for the Advanced Short Course in Business Rescue Practice (Legal Education and Development [L.E.A.D] /The Law Society of SA /Unisa)
- Certificate for the SARIPA, South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association Insolvency Program at the University of Pretoria
- Certificate in Compliance Management at University of Cape Town.
He has more than 10 years legal advisory experience at various Financial Institutions and was admitted as an Attorney in 1999. He has been appointed as joint liquidator or trustee on various matters as listed in this website.
